I bought a NanoVault 300 recently to keep a pistol locked up in. On the outside it looks pretty sturdy and comes with a cable to secure it inside the car or trunk. THEN i found out how easily the plastic hub that the locking bar on the inside breaks! PLASTIC! really? They used plastic parts as part of the locking mechanism! A cheap screwdriver can pop it open in 2 seconds! These metal boxes come with a key or combo lock and sell for $20-$40 each. Please don't waste your money. I called the company to complain, but they didn't seem too concerned. They offered me another one, but that doesn't solve the problem of PLASTIC parts in the lock. These things are cheap Chinese junk!

The price alone tells me it's junk!
