As I see in the other threads under this category, more people are looking for land, than there is land being offered for lease. I just moved into the Fort Wayne area from Michigan. The past few years I have been hunting a friend's farm in northwest Missouri.
I am looking for a piece of QDMA land to hunt, within a couple hour drive of Fort Wayne. Can anyone shed some light on where I can find postings, or websites that would have posted club openings or leases available? I am looking for the 2013 season.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. I have to get cracking on this now, so I can have a place next season.
Thank you.

Well hello to you too. Stick around for awhile, join in on some conversations and maybe you might find the answer you seek.

Work has been super busy. I haven't had time to even log on. Checking it out tonight. I will try to be more active so people can get to know me. I guess since I am used to driving 10 hours to Missouri to hunt, I would be happy to find a piece of land within 3 hours of Fort Wayne to hunt. QDMA would be great, but beggars can't be choosers. My main goal is to find a piece of land that I can take my boys with me. They are 13 and 11. I am super clean, leave no trash. I obey all rules and am very ethical. I will probably shoot more with the camera than the bow. I would even like to join a club, as long as it is a club of ethical hunters. When I lived in Georgia, I was in a couple of clubs. One year I joined a club of non ethical hunters that would just about kill anything. I was out quicker than you can say game warden. I am very respectful of others, and carry my weight around camp where needed. Just looking for a place to chill out in the woods, and maybe stick a nice buck, or some does for meat. I am willing to look at southeast Michigan, northern half of Indiana, or western Ohio.
