Well after an exhaustive search, on sunday I drove down, " just outside of Bedford", to pick up two of the prettiest little year+ old beagle girls you have ever seen. Friend of a friend of a friend found em for me. When I arrived at this ol boys house and he showed me these two I fell in love. Been awhile since my ol suzy girl has been gone and wanted to get back into running hounds. Course you know houndsmen lie about their dogs more than fisherman do so I was a little worried. Told me " Son I ain't got nothin ta hide. Take em. They don't run, bring em back."
Anyways got off work early yesterday and drove like heck to get home. Picked up the two girls and dropped them down at a little place down from the house. 30 minutes later the chase was on. To say the least I was pleasently surprised. They got a little they need worked with but I'll tell you they sure don't hesitate to get in the brush.
Looks like its time to start selling the deer hunting stuff. ;D
