Well, dad and I made it back yesterday morning around 6 am. We harvested a total of 81 birds in 3 days; we had 9 hunters in our group and hit our limit every day. This year's hunt was a little harder than last year with a little more walking due to less cover for the birds. Regarless we'd start at noon and be done by 3 each day, so it wasn't anything too tiring Here are some pics during the trip. The guys we hunt with farm / graze around 8,000 acres and these birds are 100% wild; but without a drop of rain since May and a dry winter forecast the birds will be hurting next year. I thought this was a neat picture; this was while driving down one of the section lines...that part of the country puts a whole new meaning to "turn off the paved road". Inside the main floor of the cabin (sorry about the glare) Here's one of the biggest labs I've ever seen. He belonged to one of the guides and at a year old was around 80 lbs. Needless to say you didn't want to take his spot in the Hummer! And finally, this was the result of Monday's hunt. Great time and can't wait to go back next year!

Great pics!
I'm looking forward to my first trip out there in a couple of weeks, so your pics are a great preview for me. Going out with a friend of mine that has hunted on a 30000 acre ranch somewhere near Pierre the last couple of years.
