Got my boy out for his first hunt ever. Me and him and my brother in law.
1st duck of his life is a banded mallard drake. Pics to come later.

Heck yea! I've been chasing ducks for 6 years, and I still don't have a band! One hunt that 4 of us were on, 3 out of the 4 hunters shot banded geese. I was the odd man out! Pretty cool that he got a banded drake for his first bird! Congrats dad and son!
