Well, that sucked!
Had 6 fly over and do 2 high circles and they left. Had 4 Canada Geese do a fly by, but too far to shoot. I think they were headed from "A" to "B" and we just happened to be on the flight path.
Saw 3 woodies and 3 mallards down one of the ditches. Tried sneaking up on them, but something spooked 1 of the Mallards and all the woodies when we were a good 200 Yds away. Were close enough to the other 2 mallards to shoot them once they jumped off of the water.
So, we only saw 9 Mallards, 4 Geese, and 5 Woodies in a 3 hr period. We're going to try a different place tomorrow.
