for the last several years ive used a 1648 wareagle boat with a go-devil surface drive. when i bought it i installed an avery quickset blind. after a couple seasons i decided to take it apart and build my own blind using mostly parts from the quickset. then this year i traded in the boat on a 1756 alweld with a 115/80 yamaha jet. so for the last month and a half i have been modifying the blind to fit this boat. here is what i have so far still need to make covers for the front and rear of the boat. this is the basic frame before i did any modification. this new boat is much wider than the old one. as you can see it will take alot of modifying. (note my setup for bowfishing still on the front) here i was trying to figure out how much material i would need to finish it out. i ended up putting new wind blocker on the front and was able to put enough of the old stuff together to do the back. fortunately i was able to reuse the original material. this stuff is no longer made and it is by far the best camo netting ever made. and i fastened a bunch of artificial leaves to it. im going to attach some avery killer weed once i get my front and rear cover finished. here is what it looks like when i take it down to transport it. i also built a new light bar for the front. it has been a lot of work so far but im sure it will be well wort it. cant wait for opening day!
