If I had a $1000 laying around I would have one. I heard if you were part of a long range shooting club you could get a deal on one. Something abut getting people interested in sharp shooting again.

Great guns, tons of fun to shoot and a great history behind them. The only gun I qualified Expert with.....although I did get an M1 thumb once. Marksman on the Carbine I couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle shooting the 1911 semi.... That was back in the brown boot Army..

If you shoot high power rifle competition, you can get one from the government civilian marksmanship office pretty reasonable.
