i will be up there thursday night the weekend before the hunt hopefully by dark so i can glass some fields to see where deer are moving. i will be looking for spots friday morning and hanging stands at a few of these if i have someone with me. i have to leave early afternoon on saturday for a bowfishing tourny but hopefully we have everything lined out and a game plan by then. how many are planning to come help out.

I've been asked, the hanging party is not required and strickly voluntary. We aim to find a decent spot for every hunter.

I'll be there from Wednesday night on. I am bring one double stand and a couple blinds. I have a bunch of chairs from the QDMA youth hunt that I will also bring. Anything else let me know.

Saturday I'll be bringing 5 treestands, some bight eyes, flagging tape, one pop up blind and enough orange for all pop ups..
Should be there about 9 Vincensses time..

i am heading up tomorrow evening and should be there around 7 local time. there are a couple of stands left from the thefts that we will put up friday. i will find spots to put the others while we are out and about. we will get 4 put up friday at least maybe more if we have them. got a couple of spots on the levee that we can put the blinds. not sure if we should put them up now or wait till the day before like previous years.

There is probably a couple places we can put pop ups that wont be bothered. Wouldn't put the orange on them until the opener though..

I don't want to put out Ground Blinds until next Friday. But do want to prepare the spots beforehand. I'll bring a weedeater and chainsaw this weekend and get some spots ready. We can pop them up Friday before the hunt.
Had at least two stands stolen since last year, both in the V woods. So those stands there will need to be new. We have them, just need to assemble and put up.

whenever you can get there leslie. i was thinking maybe 8 or 9. its not going to be real hot like in previous years so that should help out with fatigue
