ATTENTION : Mentors - what to bring
Mentors:
What you need to bring:1)The proper licensing for the youth hunter. Indiana laws requires that you be licensed to. Your license does not have to be a deer license. 2) Bedrolls/pillows. We are a but cramped for space so if you have a camper or tent please do bring it. . 3) Safety harnesses and tie offs for both the youth hunter and mentor. No one will be in a treestand with out fall protection. We have some available there. 4) Rain gear 5) Hunting tool/ammo 6) Hunting Clothing (we will furnish the hunter orange items) 7) Flashlight(s) 8) Personal items (toiletries, towels, wash clothes, soap, medicines, etc) 9) Whatever snacks you like for taking to the stand/blind. We will have some. 10) Lawn chairs for the campfire session. 11) Cooler to take home the deer meat. 12) Gutting/skinning knife 13) Pull up ropes 14) Bug spray. We suggest Permanon for clothes and a Themacell for mosquitoes. Some of the stands are in the bottoms and close to the Wabash so mosquitoes can get pretty heavy. 15) Whatever else you want to bring We should have two ATVs there to haul deer out so you will not have to bring yours unless you just want to.
