Noticed several guy's chopping corn for silage this week and saw 1 last weekend shelling corn in the river bottom's. Guessing it will be a earlier harvest in most area's due to the drought. (If they have anything to harvest.)

Farmers have been cutting and harvesting Corn where I live for the past few weeks.

Farmer here has started already, can drive by his fields and smell the green stalks fermenting since it wasn't dry yet when he shelled it. I heard he averaged 40 bu/acre...had no choice due to filling a contract requirement.
