I used to crow hunt out in Corona, CA on a dairy farm. The farm was in a flight path from a roosting/feedinga area, and there were 1,000's of birds flying by all day long. We'd put out half a dzn decoys and used an electronic call. 3 of us and 100 bird days was the norm.
The farmer used the crows for coyote bait.

I have hunted them using trash bags filled with clean trash such as burger wrappers. food cans ect. spread out on the ground. I would place it out in the open in their daily flight path and use 2 decoys. As far as what to do with them...... well lets just say during my life time I have had to eat CROW several times.

Crow hunting is an absolute blast. Just get a couple decoys and a caller and have some fun. I use an electronic caller, but I'm sure you could call a few in with a crow call.
