I wish you and 410 were there! : ( A guy kills his first birds out of a field he got permission for and all of a sudden he is a pro staffer....talking smack. You know if you would have invited me before 6:30PM I might have been able to make it up there for a hunt. I can't really say that was much of an invite  How'd the hunt go up there in the land of the milk an honey? Blanked down here, only a few ducks and not many geese considering the circumstances. |

I love you too, duff. : ) You know 410 would change plans the morning of, especially if the sun was shining, so I don't know why you're giving me a hard time about short notice. You know I've been on those geese for 2 years, so you need to be ready when it all comes together. We killed 3 greenheads today, geese finally flew as we were picking up the dekes. : ( BTW, we had to fight off the Pro Staff today, and I don't think they were any too happy, but we were there 1st and have been hunting that spot forever. Big river next weekend?

I'm only a govt contractor, not full fledge govt worker. I can't just change my mind about showing up to work, we really have to do stuff for those guys that come and go as they please!
2 years??? It should only take 2 hours.

FYI, my geese are gone, left yesterday, so we were perfect on our timing. If you want to be Pro Staff, then you need to able to hunt the birds when the birds are huntable. : ) LOL
