i have heard rumors that if you are putting a boat in and out of the ohio river to fish then you have to have a fishing licsense for indiana. i am from ky and have both but my friends dont have one for indiana. we will be bowfishing by our state laws and was just curious as some indiana ramps are closer to where we want to fish and i plan on shooting a tournament that puts in and out of an indiana ramp. thanks in advance.

You need a fishing license in order to fish. It is not a requirement to launch or take out your boat. If you are in possession of fish, you would have to produce the license under which the fish were caught.
