Berries are real early this year. Our raspberries are pretty much done and have allready picked a few blackberries. Deer have allready found them also, but the blackberry crop look's like it's gonna be a good one as plant's are loaded with berries. YUM,YUM. If you havn't checked your properties for berries you'd better get out soon or you will have missed them.

The blackberry vines are loaded down with fruit on my place also. Afraid they're not going to fill out if we don't get a rain soon. Alot of them are just turning "red" now.

Just the opposite up here, small and very poor raspberries not worth picking, only 2 out of 5 blueberry farms will be open to the public because of poor production and it's not looking very good for blackberries. That warm spell in March coupled with very dry conditions are to blame.  |

blkberry bushes are full of tiny fruit. I don't much care for the blkberries but really do enjoy raspberries, just don't have many stands of raspberry around here.

Drought has made a poor crop of berries up here in the N.E.. I looked the other day and the berries are small and dried up. h.h.

Hate to hear that. Our's are the best i've ever seen them. Picked some last night on a evening scouting session. Gonna have a ton of blackberries and they are just starting to turn ripe here in the south.

Went out here in Ohio Co. Nothing on the blackberry bushes at all....Not even small berries?

That's strange. I live on Ohio/Switerland county line and we got load's of both raspberries and blackberries. Blackberries are just turning but are larger than normal and more plentiful than usual.

Picked couple quarts blackberries last night and a quart of raspberries. Raspberries are about finished but blackberries are turning ripe. Did notice a few are starting to dry up from lack of rain though.
