Any person of good moral character and who is interested in the betterment of waterfowling in the State of Indiana may join the HWA .

I take it you are a board member of the HWA, correct? If so, would you provide your definition of "good moral character"? If it's one that I can accept I may consider submitting my request for membership.

Obviously Art , to each person that definition may be somewhat different depending on background, politics ect ect and so forth . Fortunatly it's one of those things which requires judgement on the individual by the Organization and will be stricken from the By-Laws at the meeting today . I mean lets face it , I really don't have time to do background checks on the members . Now that you are done trying to stir the $hit Art , you've been a member of HWA since 2003/4 .... you really need to get over your personal issues and move on . Yes, Jim I can't agree with you more. Things that are done by an individual may be considered acceptable to them self but unacceptable by many others. So, I believe to be kept in good standings within the organization the "good moral character" needs to be stricken. Now for stirring it, you only need to look back and see why I asked the question. As for me being a member, please delete me from the rolls. Since you had me on your Do Not Read Message list or what ever it's called, I had over a year ago sent a message to Mossy and Oldduck to remove my membership. I suggest you contact them and ask why it was never forwarded to you. Your obligation to me has been filled so yes I thank you for responding and I now can move on. |

Could have been more members there, but as well as could be expected with the Turkey season opener ...... I suspect as we pick up more members and those become more active the November Meeting will be better . If your interested in attending you may want to ask if the November meeting is being held the first weekend of the deer shotgun season. Just wonder if the board members have taken this season into consideration. There's still plenty of time to ask to have it rescheduled, good luck. |

buster, I just mentioned that since the next meeting is scheduled for November and if anyone is interested in attending they may want to inquire about the date. I don't know what your issue is with that comment but please get over it already!!!!
