What did I miss? I had to put a roof on the house, luckily I got it there before all this rain. Not enough in the play fund left after the roofing job.
CAn ya give me a synopsis.
The rest of ya- if you've never been to a DU state convention it is a combination of a great two day party for the younger bunch, and a great informative weekend concerning waterfowl and where your DU money goes.....

Hey Hotshot,
Of course, Ed and Jim can tell you about the event as well as I can but it was a good time. We had Wade Bourne and Mike Stewart with Drake the DU dog as well as another dog, Whiskey, in attendance. They did a great job giving talks both to the kids and adults. Of course, we also celebrated the addition of Goose Pond to the coffers of land that will forever be protected thanks to the DU volunteers. Attendance was down a bit but the spirit of the folks there sure wasn't. A new Cynergy was selected and it's a beautiful piece done by Jules Bouilliet. All in all, a very good convention. The hospitality suite was in full force again and let's just say they did me in on both nights. The highlight story can be told by Ed and Jim. Sorry you couldn't come along as it was a great time. Give me a call when you can as I have a question to ask.

Hoyt, where you been? I haven't seen you post for awhile. I looked for you at the the Decatur DU Banquet, but Franz said you weren't there. Too bad, I was gonna buy you a beer! Your loss!! ;D See you around.
