Let'm know how you feel. If you are happy or not.
Don't let a small minority decide things by not sending your voice in. Like wise let them know if you are not happy with proposed changes or would like to see some adjustments.

I think I'll submit a request to shorten the goose season to 5 days in September and have a 10 day goose in February.

take a copy of this letter with you!
Indiana Dept. Of Natural Resources Fish and Wildlife Division Migratory Waterfowl Season Office 402 W. Washington St. Room W273 Indianapolis, IN 46204
Ladies and Gentlemen:
For the past several years, several waterfowl hunters and I have contacted your office. We’ve been polite, and understood that your hands are tied by federal regulations. However, the time to do something about the Canada goose situation is here. The SJBP zones are less than 12 miles wide, with open seasons to the north, (Michigan), and south, (various counties). The Geist Reservoir residents, although well intentioned are totally misinformed, and goose eggs are being oiled legally and illegally because it is an easier solution than capturing and moving the birds.
The solution is more and more evident. Liberalize the limit of birds per day, rid the tier counties of the SJBP designation, and/ or expand the goose season to include some late February/ early March opportunities. In doing so, you’d allow the people, (hunters), whose money was utilized to establish such an overly successful program to control it.
We ask that you make these recommendations to the USFWS at the earliest convenience.
