The Tri-County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited in Kentucky has set its 20th annual Youth Duck Banding Event for Saturday February 18 at Sauerheber Wildlife Refuge in Henderson County.
The event will be behind the refuge office near Geneva, beginning at 9 a.m.
"This event allows kids the opportunity to handle and release banded, live waterfowl," said Mark Gobin, one of the organizers. "It's a big hit with the kids."
