My youngest son: Luke watched me put a sneak on a pair of ducks. He watched from a wood pile on shore as I kept a small island between me and the birds. i was actually aiming at a goose on the last day of the SJBP season, these two ducks jumped up and caught the steel#2's for the goose. My pup put on a show with his first double retrieve www.hunt101.com/img/368412.JPG

Hey, she committed suicide. Why any self respecting duck would jump infront of a goose is beyond me?

What ever color call you give him, I can guarantee, by the end of day two, that call will be in your truck. Your son will only be allowed to blow it while going somewhere in your truck. Your neighbors will learn to hate seeing the two of you driving by their house. You will love him even more watching him make the worst duck sounds you ever have heard. One tip for hunting trips..... give him a 4 in one whistle to blow. Ducks won't flare at any of the sounds he'll make.... just sounds like any of 10000 birds you'd hear.

Heck yeah, too much fun! My wife will not allow the kids' duck calls in the house due to too much quacking. The little guy follows big brother around outside trying to imitate the same quacking sounds. big bro isn't terribel, and has had atleast two birds try to dump in on his calling. too fun!
