Needless to say we were in a hot field this morning. We even had to sit out there for freaking 2 hours. We had to set up a little bit off due to safe shooting areas and wind direction. Despite those factors 410, Indyhunter, myself, and a lurker smoked our limit and added a greenhead to the bag. Great hunt.

I was out this morning in Henry county and there was still plenty of snow. Enough that I needed to use the snow covers on my blinds. We stayed until 11:00 and if we had stayed a bit longer I would have had to take the snow covers off. We lost snow fast with the warm weather and rain. The property I hunted has only been hunted once and we limited out very early and today as perfect as the weather was, not a bird was seen. I gusee they too took a Christmas vacation. Now to get everything cleaned up and dried out for the next hunt.
