Anybody doing any good? Trying to arrange a river hunt this weekend. Hoping some birds stop over for a rest...

3 of us only managed 5 mallards this morning. Lots of early birds though.

5 mallards is an excellent day in my book. Good to hear there are still a few around.

No river hunting this morning, but we did manage to get 19 birds. 16 of which were mallards. We were about 5 miles from the river though, so it has to be good too.

Good hunt! I was happy on the 5 but the conditions in previous yrs usually meant better shooting then we had. |
