Sat morning I got up before first light...cause I dont sleep like a normal person should....and decided to go pop up a blind in my little food plot.
I really wasnt expecting the show I got. As the sun came up I heard at least 3 different Gobblers sounding off, as typical tho as soon as they were on the ground they went quiet.
About 9 I starting hearing hens and all of a sudden the woods came alive with Turkeys. I had them coming in from 2 different directions. 2 strutters 3 jakes and I have no idea how many hens. They were fighting behind me and came in and put on one heck of a show at less than 10 yards.
If I can figure out how to post these videos you'll see what i mean.

for those of you skeptical of setting up a blind to turkey hunt out of. I set this one up that morning at first light, IN my little plot which is 25-30 yards wide at the widest point, no brushing in, no trying to hide it at all. I'd say theywere pretty relaxed  |

If there was ever a time that you would hear the "squealing hen sound".......that would be it.
The squealing hen call must be a gimick!!!
