Every youth hunt we load up a bag of hunting goodies for the youths. It is much apprecieated and some of these kids would never get any hunting stuff at all if it was not for the "Goody Bag". Rural King had hunter orange vests on sale so I picked up 15 of them. Going to put a Hunt Club Services and Hunting Indiana logo on them. As in the past, I plan on hitting up retailers, manufacturers and anyone, anywhere who would like to donate to the cause. Joe just informed me that the Louisville Chapter Of QDMA has OKed a donation of $500 DOLLARS!!
WOW!!!
Will that ever come in handy!

Is this just "goodwill" donations or do you have a NFP tax # so the donation can be written off on taxes? It may or may not make a difference to retailers, gun shops, ...

Even though this site is not a profit making venture by a long shot (no money taken in) we are not a 501c . We have lost a few companies that only contribute to 501c charities, but we do end up with a pretty good grab bag of hunting "stuff" for the kids.. We are not too proud, we will take anything from anyone..  |

We are working on the Nonprofit status, not sure if we can get it done or not. Trying to do a merger of some sort with Derby City QDMA. They do a huge youth hunt every year and have a lot of resources.

I Have a Paypal account but I have never set it up yet to recieve money. I just used it to buy a few items on eBay. I'm on my iPhone now so I'll look at that later. In he meantime... I've got the Derby City QDMA money set aside and in my safe. We will use it wisely and judiciously. If anyone on here wants to contribute to this monetary fund just PM me for my address. Thanks... |

What are the Youth Hunt dates this year? September 29th and 30th. The last two days in September. This is as late as the youth seaosn will ever be under the present regulations.. |
