My son(12), took down two wood ducks. We were invited to a friend's semi private lake. His son and mine both shot a pair of woodies. We saw lots of birds, could have had a bunch more wood ducks if the limits were increased..... saw a few hundred geese but they were interested in a field nearby.
We chewed the fat, munched on snack sticks and still made it home in time to get the birds cleaned before church.
Oh, to have the reflexes of a 12 year old again.
Mason is down right deadly with a shot gun. few adults shoot as well. If he aims at something with a 20 or 12 guage, it usually falls over dead. The ducks made a great lunch too!
