The USFWS wants to buy around 35,000 acres in western Kentucky, to expand the Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge.
They are buying up land right now.
I live about 15 miles from this refuge. It's located just south of Paducah, KY, and just west of Kentucky Lake.
This will preserve a very large area for Waterfowl, and other wildlife.
