this is a buck i was lucky enough to take behind my house n randolph county the second day of 09 firearms season,,he had a nice 8pt with him too,,they always come to the patch woods behind my house when the guns start a blazing ,,so when i come back for lunch or to tend to home duties i always make a quick stalk through the woods,,,always bedding in the same lil thicket they generally stand like statues and allow me to just ease past,,not this time when he rose up the hammer of the TC dropped,,,he ran straight at me,,and im not gonna tell ya what i about did,,,yeah i thought i was gonna get the raw end of the deal too...but he whirled slammed a large ash tree breaking one of his split brows and piled up under the tree and left me there shaking and not sure what all had just happened......this was absolutely luck,,,but i have taken deer this way several different times in the 10 yrs i have lived here,,,kinda like my lil honey hole

181/2 to first beam...21 1/2 to other main....not sure if it would be classified as third main beam but base of left antler splits into another to what appears to be a main beam,,,either way it gives him great character but about 18 total inches of pure deduction if my memory serves me right,,its been a few yrs and hes still in the freezer. i do my own taxidermy and time has not been a friend of mine the past few yrs....nor my father or friends deer heads...ive always put them first
