Going to start filming some of mine and friends hunts this coming year and just like anything else I'm going to practice in the off season. Need some advice on anything and everything. Haha. I picked up a brand new Sony HDR Cx130 at a pawn shop my buddy runs for a price I couldn't pass up. It was not my first choice of cameras to get but it was a great deal and I didn't want to dive into a high dollar prosumer just yet. I figure if I really like it and get deep into it I can always use it for a second angle cam. So I am thinking about getting the Sony Vegas for editing, anyone have experience with this software? Pros/Cons? Also the cx130 records in AVCHD so I think I will have to convert this to edit?? Not sure. I am currently waiting to get a new PC from work, they are upgrading and selling old for cheap to employees that want one. I don't think my laptop at home has enough butt behind it to get the job done. So any info you can share or suggestions I would love to hear them.
