A buddy and I were hunting in a field today for geese (Late goose season). We were discussing whether or not it would be legal for us to have rifles and an electronic caller and also try calling for 'yotes. (.223 & .243)
I know the e-caller has snow goose calls on it, but I can remove the Micro-SD card and burn another one that doesn't have goose calls on it.
Would it be legal then? We have permission from the landowner to hunt 'yotes.
5 hrs. and no geese make for some interesting talks..... Only steel shot in the truck or in our posession too. No lead.

The end of your question is the items that would make it illegal. While hunting waterfowl a person can only use non-toxic shot. It is illegal to possess shells loaded with anything other than approved non-toxic shot.
