Anyone have any ideas or pics of a "homemade" turkey feeder? Got a field I'd like to put one in. I'm sure everyother critters in the woods will find it, but I'd like to make something that will appeal to turkeys.

We have a buckeye feeder and really like it. It has an inverted funnel in the barrel that directs the corn down its hollow legs then onto tray that the turkey and deer can reach. Little waste from this method.

Right after deer season was over I put up a bucket feeder that I bought from Walmart on sale for $30.00. It runs on 6v battery. I bought two extra batteries for 14.00. I put cracked corn, oats and whole corn in it and its throwing feed once a day @8am for 1 second. I did this for turkey. Im going to add some sunflower seeds to the mix. So far it runs less than half of the 6 .5 gallon bucket out in 2 weeks. I put up my game cam and so far the turkeys havent found it but squirrels, birds and rabbits have. h.h.
