For the most part I understand all the recent changes involving the urban zone. I live and hunt in Lake county, but not in the old urban zone.
My question is, Now that all of lake and porter counties are urban zone, does that mean that there is no gun hunting in the entire county for deer?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just don't have any previous experience with the urban zone rules.
If so, that is a WHOLE lot of hunters that are going to be affected by the rule. I would personally love it if true because I only bow hunt.

The normal deer seasons will also take effect in Lake and Porter Counties. The hunter using or hunting under the urban deer zone will be limited to archery equipment. A firearm cannot be used during the urban deer zone only.
