My Wife bought some new Cutco kitchen knives and they were pretty expensive. She also bought me a one of their fillet knives which the salesman claims are the best (as if he would say otherwise). Anyone ever use one? www.cutco.com/products/product.jsp?itemGroup=5721

Yep a fisherman's solution!....I've had a black one for about two years now it's pretty cool but I've hardly used it... thinking about selling it as I have plenty of other fillets, I just catch a few gills, crappie. and cats......it's a little much for my needs..really nice shape too..$50 shipped....

Don't have the fillet knife but bought two boning knives for processing deer, a chefs knife and a paring knife. Very good knives. One of there sales pitches is that they never need to be sharpened, which is complete B.S., however they do hold an edge quite well.

I have the fillet knife and like it a lot - - good feel and bend to the blade for both large and small fish
I got mine in trade for installing exterior 3 motion sensor lights and a range/hood microwave system for an elderly woman - I refused payment for the work since I knew she could not really afford much and she remembered from 2 years before that I had told her husband how much I liked that knife - well he had passed away and she would never use it so she gave that to me instead of cash
good deal for all involved
