That is a good idea.... maybe make it a points system...... Fox Squirrles worth 1 point each and Greys worth 2 or something.

Aren't most of the team contest on here with hunters who know each other, and usually hunt the same property? Would it be tough to throw names in a hat and random draw teams. I promise I will still let my son have the first shot. I'm not so sue on the Grays getting more respect than the Foxes though. While I'll agree that Grays are a tougher hunt, some of us just can't get into a woods full of them too often.
You guys want to make things real interesting? How about the rifle guys against the shotgun guys. My ex-father-in-law and I still argue about that one.

I tell you what.. I'll post up a sign up thread and we can start there. We can try 5 member teams to start off with. Choose your own team or sign up as an individual - just like we did on turkeys and deer. I don't hunt the tree rats ( ) so give me some reasonable rules that all go by. When I did hunt them, I really don't think greys are harder to hunt except there are less of them. 1 point per squirrel (grey or fox) is OK by me.. What else?

More points for handgun kills. Shotguns, rifles, and handguns in order from least amount of points to the most. Just an idea...

I will hunt them with my bow this year..... I actually have some old arrows that would work great for that.
