Hello and thanks for taking the time to answer our questions! It is appreciated.
When a hunter purchases upland game - like quail or pheasant - from a game breeder to use for training / working their dogs, are they bound by the same seasons and daily / bag limits as hunters who are hunting wild game? Assume they purchase the game from a licensed breeder and take them to private property for the hunt.

The hunter would not be allowed to possess the animals for more than five (5) days. Prior to release, the animals would have to be either marked or banded in order for identification while training in order to ensure they were not taking wild animals. the hunter would also be required to have the receipt showing the number and species of animals purchased.
