Back when I lived in Indiana, I used to Turkey Hunt a lot at Camp Atterbury. I took 3 Jakes, and 5 Toms over the years at Camp Atterbury. My relatives have also taken several big Toms from Camp Atterbury over the years. I used to live next to area 7. And we used to see and hunt Turkeys many years ago, before most people in Indiana started Turkey Hunting. My family actually saw one of the 1st flocks of Turkeys that were reintroduced into Camp Atterbury back in the late 1970's. It's cool to see how the Turkeys have grown in number at Camp Atterbury. Now every hunting area has a healthy Turkey population.
