I was thinking why doesn't the dnr just open up season and leave it open per each zone would make sence due to the weather conditions, anyone support this.

I don't understand what you are asking? Feds give the states certain options to choose from and the state sets the seasons based on hunter feedback and what they believe will give the best hunting. Don't like the dates contact the waterfowl biologist or respond to the surveys if they send it to you. There will always be open and closed dates so know where you are hunting and what is in season. No excuse for poaching

Waterfowl. Federally regulated. IDNR has a tricky mine field of rules to navigate. The rules are bigger and so are the fines.
