I voted no but if we don't get any more around here I might have to wait for the Feb season....

I hunt it if I can find a place to shoot a few geese.

For my spot this year has been tough. We may be hunting migrators in February if things don't change. Having that options has me pumped that i wont miss the migration. I think guys get excited too because of the bag limit. On a hot field by myself it's hardly worth hunting for 2. But for 5 it's a little more worth it. Also I think overall in my experience local birds are just a little easier to work also.

I'd take shooting two right now in a heart beat...I'm ready for some frozen field. One of the reasons I don't like the Feb season is the thaw typically hits about the same time and it is such a mess getting in and out of the fields.

That's the truth duff. We've only had one day it was solid enough to get into our fields. The birds flew in at 5:26. Sunset was 5:25.

We don't specifically target geese during the regular season for 2 reasons: 1) the 2 goose bag limit 2) The geese just don't normally use the fields and ditches during the regular season like they do during the late season.
