Do any of ya'll eat the squirrel livers and hearts? I don't personally eat them but my grandma loves them so I save all of them for her and she will freeze them up until she has enough to make a nice meal out of them.

No. But my old neighbor always wanted me to save all the rat brains I skinned for him to fry-up.

No. My great grandparents used to fry the skulls up and pick the brains out like digging at a lobster claw. Not for me! My brothers tried it, and liked it.

I despise liver in any form other than using it for fish bait .

My mom-n-law has fixed stuffing using liver and hearts from geese we have shot. It was great. Same with deer heart. Give it a shot some time, if you can just try it with a good attitude I bet you won't hate it.
Now brains, that ranks up there with cow tounge and snails...YUCK!!! Just kidding I have never eaten brains, but I doubt I could bring myself to even try them!!!

I love squirrel and rabbit hearts. I hate liver, so I never was of a mind to try them. I also eat deer hearts (cook those in a crock pot).

My favorite part of the deer is the heart. I also save the heart and gizzards out of my birds but I have never ate the heart and liver ouy of squirrels, and don't think I ever will, unless I am starving.

No amount of good it may do offsets that for me, plus I puke when I smell that stuff cooking. Yuck!
