We are going to be putting in some food plots on our lease and i was wondering what guys have success planting. Any specific blend or brand? Thanksl Judd

Imperial whitetail clover, & soybeans. One year we planted the samples from Imp. Whitetail, & beans next to each other,& during bow season watched does walk threw everything else to get to the beans to eat.

Agree with imperial whitetail clover. Great product, highly attractive and if you take care of plot's (Spray grass/weeds annually,fertilize/lime annually) you can expect to last 5-7 year's. Row crop's (soybean's/corn) are best suited for larger partial's. 2-4 acre minimum or deer will have it ate before hunting season rolls around. Good fall hunting plot's I've used with success include oat's,wheat, turnip's/rape.

Ive always had luck with clover. We live in an ag area, so anything high in protein with variance will do well. I still like late standing beans...
