This will be my third year goose hunting and every year we have had several migrating specks fly over. The guy I hunt with tells me its near impossible to call them in but I would still love a shot at one...Is there any secrets to calling them into a spread? We have also been seeing s few snow geese but by December they area gone. Will be back in my after them in a few weeks..Cant wait!!!

Do you use a spec call or just a canada call? Where I hunt, we do see plenty of them and have had near misses each year. I got a good call last year and it seemed to pull them closer but no decoys. This year I have my decoys and call, I hope I just get the time to use them all and bag one or more of them.
Guys in other states like LA, KS, or CA have lots of advice as they harvest a bunch down there. Find some national waterfowl boards and get some advice.
