or are most if not all the ducks gone from northwest Indiana.
I drove around today looking at spots that hold ducks every year at this time and I could not find a one.
There are plenty of geese but no ducks.
I am sure glad this was the year of what was advertised to be one of the greatest migrations in recent memory......however I must have slept in that day.

i also drove around the last two days were not seeing any ducks and only a few geese but there are alot of cranes

Come on down. Did a driving tour after work...I'm ready! Not enough geese for my liking but plenty of ducks.

Havent seen much action around Marshall, fulton, or miami counties. Been hit and miss on small numbers here and there. Was out before the snow yesterday and stayed until 5:15 and not one bird. Out this morning and saw a few buffs, ruddys and one hen hoody that just loved our spread. Also large groups of greebs. Did end up w/ 2 local honkers. Hope we get a push and soon! Sure am glad they set the dates for the fair weather hunters! (not) should have been a split in duck season not goose!!!

we have been seeing tons of mallards. however the geese seem to be no where around.

Found a lot of ducks over near Angola but none around the lakes or rivers I fish in the South Bend area??

Maybe they're all south of US 40...hunted both mornings this weekend and saw TONS of birds. Most too high to think about yellin at but plenty to keep our calls in hand. Very few geese though. And I agree...the best time to duck hunt is when its already over.
