Had anohter great morning, even with a guy walking in on us at daylight??  Got my first teal and a nice mess of mallards. Look Tim..no tailgate ;D  Gotta love a lab..   |

Just got in from scouting..Found two different lakes with about 500 ducks on each..Gonna be a good hunt in the morning. Think I am getting addicted to this duck huntin..Hey Featherduster..I went with #4s heavy shot in 3"..drops em' right now..

Most of us are glad your enjoying some good hunting down there in souther Indiana because there are no ducks up here in NW Indiana.

Well..it was bound to happen..The ducks got a little picky with the high sky. We did manage 4 and seen good numbers. That was just the start of a so so day..My boots now leak and I got a sharp stick in the eye..so yes.."its better than a sharp stick in the eye" is so true. Called it early and already have the ducks on ice. Good Huntin  |

Nice, I hope to get my first duck an goose in about a week an a half. word of caution...Its addicting!!! ;D I love to hunt doves, quail and pheasant but after the past 3 days I think I can say that ducks are right there with em'. This will be my 3rd year goose hunting and cant say the same for it..not a lot of fun laying in a muddy field in the cold and watching them fly over for 4 to 5 hours..ugh.. Who am I kidding?  I love it all!! |
