Hey Rocky, I replied to your email last night. Sorry for the delay.
Rockbottom has some awesome beagles, I got a couple pups off him this summer and they are looking really good! Can't wait to put them on a track, the way they run a cat they will catch a rabbit! LOL!

Went for the first time this year. We ran eight bunnies from 3:00 p.m. to dusk. The storms last night provided some good tracking moisture.

Spent a great deal of my teenage years hunting rabbits and had a ball. Don't get to go much anymore, I miss that.

How many like to hunt swamp rabbits? In Missouri there is limit on them per day and possession. I use to take my boys hunting alot and in th 80's one could kill more than one a day, and they weighed 5-6 lbs. and filled up the game bag fast. They tasted great and smother them with gravy and other juices and then they would melt in your mouth.

Swamp Rabbits?
I recall seeing a few in my youth (how's that for a memory?) down in the bottoms of Vanderburgh and Warrick counties.
I haven't heard about any in years.
They are big rascals.
