Youth Turkey Weekend Hunts Available
The Youth Spring Turkey Weekend Hunts are scheduled this year for April 19 and 20, 2008.
Again this year Timex has graciously opened up some of his Indiana deer and turkey hunting lease properties to allow some of the kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews of Hunting-Indiana.com members a place to hunt that weekend.
The properties are located at:
Vincennes – Timex says this property can handle one or two youths hunting together.
Princeton – There are 3 farms outside of Princeton, total acreage is over 800.
He can handle one group (one or two) for each tract. There is enough room between the tracts to hunt separately, so these can be different groups or individuals.
These are all self-guided hunts.
If you have youths that want to turkey hunt the Youth Weekend contact Timex through PMs here. He will get you directions and aerials of the tracts. He will also mail you the needed permission cards along with a hat with Timex’s Hunting Club Services logo on it.
A camo hat and place to hunt turkeys - it doesn’t get much better than that.
I would like to personally thank Timex for opening up his properties to our youth. The youth are our future and Timex is doing what we all need to do and that is encourage and involve our youth in hunting.
