Okay I am looking at some land across the way that is listed in the WRP program. Can someone tell me how long it could be in this program and what I can do with the land while it is? And does this bring any money into the pocket? Thanks BB

Ask, could be lifetime. The owner has the money already. You'll need to see if it can be taken out. I'd bet it can't and that there is no income from it.
What county is it in?

WRP has time+ 10 year, 30 year and permanent.
It is not like the CRP program that pays a yearly dollar amount on each acre entered into the program .... chances are the current owner has already taken all the money.
There are a couple of ways a person can see some income off the property. The easiest way is mineral rights. There are certain compatible use permits as well for above ground income .... haying, grazing and timbering. No guarantee you can or will get an above ground compatible use permit though.
As for what you can do with the ground .... easier to tell you the big things you CANT do with it. You cant crop it. You cant build a permanent structure on it.
