Who's going on Saturday? We're heading out west to Cataract. Looking forward to taking a deer break, and getting on some green heads.

Had a great plan for Saturday for a field that looked really good but my grandpa passed away this morning so it's a no go. Heading to Pennsylvania. May be able to squeeze a Sunday hunt in.

Had a pretty good day yesterday down in Bloomington. Should've brought home about 6 birds, but had some issues. We made a lot of changes over the course of the day. At the end we were hunting over open water with no dekes, no mojo, and no calls. Had we started that way we may have limited out. Can't wait for November regular season.

Man don't start that stuff here. They're leagal so don't worry about it. There is no shame in taking hens as long as you're legal, if you've got that big a problem with someone shooting a legal duck hang up your waders and sell your gun.

I hunt to eat, and they eat the same as drakes. I've shot hens my whole life, and this year DU registered as the biggest duck hatch we have EVER seen. I'd say taking some hens is nothing but conservation.
