Just wandering a CO's thoughts on someone shooting a deer and not finging it until the next week. Then just removing the head and taking it to the check station. There is exactly this situation posted in the deer hunting section. However this deer may have died, I would think a CO should have been called to check the deer, to make sure this is not a cover story to a deer that may have been poached.
Before everyone gets on the bandwagon again. I am not saying that is what the op of the other post has done. But it was my point, this is a reason a CO should have been called.
And to keep agrueing that the OP was legal and done no wrong, is bull. If a new guy reads that post and assumes he is in the right to do the same, after reading here that is okay to do so. May cause someone a date to jail or at a minimum a ticket for illegal possesion.
So, this post is just to get a CO's view of the matter. Because this is the net and really how do we know, how true the story or for that matter any story is true on this board.
