thanks Duff for the nice comments, its just a hobby , mainly to spend more time outdoors. been taken more and better photos when i bought a Canon digital camera over two years ago.....i live in Anderson, so i don't have many great nature places...it would be nice to live by a fish and wildlife area....i still hunt and fish.......just needed more time enjoying the outdoors and i like sharing what i see.... .......turkey scout

Heck yea. I am sure you already know this but just in case, Shady Side is great when the ducks & geese start pouring in. I have seen some good ducks out there for Anderson. Pintails, canvas backs, redheads, widgeon, mallards (by the hundreds at times), wood ducks, buffle heads, golden eyes to name a few and of course the elusive canada goose. I'd go there to learn to ID birds in flight when I was first starting to duck hunt. It was very helpful. When it gets ice on it you can get some good photos of banded birds if your zoom is decent. Those are popular if you ever get into selling your shots. Only problem there is you are not really in the wooooods! Park by the boat ramp and walk around the back to the little peninsula across from the pavilion and set up in the trees. You can get some close-up photos of those fat peanut eating tree rats too!
Thanks for posting the pics they are great! Look forward to seeing more as you get them.
