Well, we finally made it home. Dang motoerhome broke half way in on I -64. Ended u being a dead battery. Don't know if the alternator went bad or just the battery pooped out. Had lights on because of the rain and it just died and wouldn't crank. My diesel truck has two big batteries in it, so we pulled one of them and got it it to crank and made it home. Quit raining about the time we pulled in.
Tough weekend to hunt, the kids and mentors did a great job in spite of the conditions.
Thanks to Woody and all the other that help with the hunt. Especially Dustin, Jason, Jdaily, Mark Williams, Leslie, Nick and ALL the mentors.

Bummer...
Probably be taking my 4Runner in to get a new starter on it. Several times up there the key turn did nothing. Still pouring down here with flood warnings out. Big John texted me telling that they made it home OK.
Tough hunt but we persevered....

The youth hunting up here in my county was pretty much rained out. That front sat and pulled the rain right through here. Pretty much rained all day Saturday and Sunday. I dont think game moved much because of it. All the youth hunters I knew didnt see anything. h.h.
