First, let me say thanks to the CO for taking the time to answer questions here. It is greatly appreciated.
I have a question about Military / Refuge Tags. Here is the scenario. Suppose I hold an archery tag and a firearms tag and I harvest an antlered deer with my archery tag on a standard private property hunt. With the 1 buck rule, my firearms tag is now unable to be filled since it is for antlered deer only. Could I use my firearms tag - for an antlered deer - on a Military firearms hunt I was drawn for instead of purchasing a separate Military / Refuge tag?
Thanks again for your time!!

Unfortunately the answer is no. While using any regular deer license the one buck rule applies even on a military draw hunt. Buying the military refuge license makes you an exception to the one buck rule. The law pertaining to this is very lengthy or else I would post it in here. If you would like to see it I can provide the Indiana Administrative Codes that apply. Just let me know.
